Learn about crash games and how they work

Crash is the simplest game on the site to describe and one of the most gripping to play. A multiplier starts at 1.00× and climbs. At some point it crashes. Cash out before the crash and you win your stake multiplied by the number on screen at that moment; hold too long and you lose the stake. One curve, one button, one decision.

One round, start to finish

Figure 1: cash out anywhere on the curve; the crash ends the round for everyone still in

1. Place your bet during the betting window between rounds. Once the round starts, no new bets are accepted.

2. The round begins and the multiplier climbs from 1.00× upward, accelerating as it goes.

3. Press Cash Out at any moment to lock in your stake times the current multiplier. Your win is credited instantly.

4. When the crash hits, the round ends. Every bet still active at that instant is lost, and the next betting window opens.

Instant crashes: rare, real, and in the rules

Every so often a round ends at 1.00× before anyone can blink. It’s a designed part of the maths (it’s where the house edge lives), it’s stated in the info panel, and it’s the flip side of the monster multipliers the game can produce.

The interface

Round history (1): the recent crash points. Interesting to look at, useless for prediction; every round is independent.

Live players (2): crash is played together. Everyone rides the same curve, and you can watch other players lock in their cashouts in real time. Their decisions have no effect on the round or on your bet.

Auto cash out (3): set a target multiplier and the game cashes out for you the instant the curve reaches it, executed server-side. This is the most useful control in the game: it removes reaction time, lag and nerve from the equation entirely.

Cash out (4): the manual button, showing your live payout. Many versions also let you run two bets side by side, for example one on a conservative auto target and one ridden by hand.

The crash point is already decided

Figure 3: the destination exists before the curve starts climbing

This is the single most important thing to understand about crash, and it echoes how every RNG game works: the outcome is fixed before the presentation begins. The climbing curve is a countdown to a number that was drawn before liftoff. Nothing that happens during the round, including your cashout, anyone else’s cashout, or the total money riding, moves the crash point by a hair.

Picking a cashout target

Because the maths is fixed, choosing a target is not about finding the profitable number; every target carries the same house edge. It is about choosing your volatility, exactly as described in our volatility guide. Low targets around 1.2× to 1.5× win most rounds and lose occasionally; they play like a low volatility slot. High targets of 10× and beyond lose most rounds and occasionally pay spectacularly; that is high volatility with the same average underneath. As a rough guide to frequency: a 2× target wins a little under half of rounds, a 10× target a little under one in ten, with the shortfall from those clean fractions being the house edge doing its quiet work.

Five crash myths

The myth

The reality

“It crashed right after I cashed out. It’s watching me”

The crash point is fixed before the round starts, before the game knows whether, when or if you will cash out. A near miss after your cashout is a coincidence you were always going to see sometimes.

“A big multiplier is due after all these instant crashes”

Every round’s crash point is drawn independently. A string of early crashes does not make a 100× more likely, and the history bar is a record, not a forecast.

“Cashing out late is braver, so it should pay better”

Every cashout target has the same expected value. Higher targets pay more but hit less often, in exact proportion. There is no target that beats the house edge, only targets that change the shape of the ride.

“Martingale works here: double after every loss”

Doubling after losses works until the losing streak your bankroll cannot cover, which over time always arrives. The strategy rearranges when you lose, not whether.

“Lag or a slow connection made me miss my cashout”

This one deserves a straight answer: latency is real, which is exactly what auto cash out exists for. Auto cashouts execute server-side at your set multiplier regardless of your connection. If precise exits matter to you, use auto.

Good to know

Auto is your precision tool. Set your exit before liftoff and the game executes it perfectly, server-side, every time: cool-headed cashouts without the reaction-time drama, with manual mode right there whenever you fancy flying by hand.

Ride together. The live feed is half the fun: cheer strangers’ 20× escapes while plotting your own. It doesn’t change the round, and it doesn’t need to.

Blink-fast rounds. A round can wrap in under twenty seconds, which is exactly the appeal: size your bets for the tempo and the session flies.

Verify it if you want to. On provably fair versions of crash, each round’s crash point can be independently verified from the seed pair after the round. Our provably fair guide covers how.

Set your line, then fly. Decide your budget and your favourite cashout style before liftoff, and enjoy one of the purest thrill rides on the site.
